Hmong Living Farm History: Teb Chaws Hmoob Ceeb Tsheej

A vibrant blue flag with celestial designs on a sunny day.

Our Story

Depicted is our own Hmong Flag, created by the founder. Our plan is to build an outdoor museum that celebrates Hmong cultural tradition in Brook Park, Pine County, MN. Why? I am determined to make it happen; in this lifetime, I will create a living history of Hmong Paradise (Teb Chaws Hmoob Ceeb Tsheej). This project aims to leave a legacy owned by Hmong people, making a significant mark in Hmong history.

Our logo features the Hmong Flag because our parents migrated from Mongolia to China, then to Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and finally to America, Australia, France, and Canada. We found our home here in America.

Peb Hmoob tej niam tej txiv tsis txawj khaws hmoob tus chij vim txoj kev tsiv teb staws chaw los pem Muam nkauj liag' teb rau Suav teb, nyablaj teb, Nplog teb thaib Thaib teb thiab Hmoob thiaj tsiv nyob thoob tag nho hauv lub qab ntuj no lawm. Yog li ntawd kuv thiaj yog tus tseem Hmoob uas kuv paub tseeb tias POG UA TSEG YAWG UA CIA nyob rau AMERICA teb no lawm.

Landscape outdoor Hmong museum

Enjoy the Hmong bow and arrow, which showcases the rich Hmong cultural tradition that has been preserved for more than 5,000 years, educating all about true Hmong history. Peb Hmoob zoo siab hais tias Hmoob muaj rab Hneev uas yog Hmoob txua los zov vaj zov tsev thaum twg muaj chaw siv los yog muaj tsiaj phem los tsev tau tua, los yog mus txoj kev twg tau nqa ua luag. Txawm yog tus uas nws tau tso lub ntiaj teb tseg lawm los tseem yuav tau muab ib rab Hneev ra nws ua luag, reflecting the enduring legacy found in the Hmong outdoor museum.

Hmong flute

The Hmong flute plays a significant role in Hmong cultural tradition, symbolizing the values and history that have been passed down through generations. Understanding the importance of the flute is essential, as it helps educate the young generation to grow strong and connected to their roots. The qeej is a traditional Hmong instrument, created by our ancestors as a means of communication and expression in the world. At an Hmong outdoor museum, visitors can learn more about the rich history behind the txiv nraug luj tub, an integral part of our cultural heritage.
